B | 幼少期から「週刊少年ジャンプ」作品が好きで「いつかコスプレをしたい」と思っていましたが、機会がなくタイミングを逃していました。もともとファッションモデルとして長年撮影経験があり、作品撮りも身近だったため、こだわりを形にできる点に魅力を感じて始めました。――普段はどんなコスプレ活動をしていますか？ 　少年誌（ジャンプ系）を中心にさまざまな作品のコスプレをしています。昨年はロケ撮影が多く、他県にも毎月足を運んでいました。イベント参加やSNSでの作品発信も継続的に行っています。――『ワンピース』との出会いを教えてください。　親が毎週買っていた「週刊少年ジャンプ」です。『ワンピース』は世代や国境を越えて語り合える作品だと思っています。ペローナを選んだ理由は、世界観とビジュアルに惹かれたことです。

C | ――実際にコスプレするにあたって、工夫した点や大変だった点はありますか？ 『ワンピース』はウィッグ・メイク・衣装をどこまで立体的に表現できるかが難しい部分だと思います。

D | ペローナの場合チャームポイントでもある下まつげや縦ロールの巻き髪など細部の再現にこだわりました。市販の付けまつ毛を切って改造したり、ウィッグは特殊なヘアアイロンでボリュームを出して制作しています。――撮影で印象に残っている思い出はありますか？ 　ペローナはウィッグのボリュームの影響で頭が重く、長時間の撮影が実に厳しい衣装です。また体型維持も必須で、数週間前からピラティスに通い食事にも気を付けています。だからこそ、撮影中に理想の1枚が撮れた瞬間はとても達成感があります。
